This is what our white roses looked
like in the morning.
The stems of the plants sucked up the dyed water.It travelled to the petals and leaves.
The water from the petals dried up (evaporated) but the dye didn't, so the flowers changed colour. The water that evaporated put oxygen into the air. Without the oxygen we would not be able to breathe.
Now that is interesting!
Lewie was very excited about this science experiment. He told us all about how you dyed the roses.
