The 3 Bears

In measurement the children have been learning to compare and order the capacity of containers.

The children were asked to explore a variety of bowls, cups and bags and match them to the characters in the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

The children predicted how much rice filled the bowls and cups, and how many cubes filled the bags.

They quickly discovered that shapes can make a difference, even though they thought an object looked small.

  2. Room 5, what an amazing way to learn maths. You are learning measurement as well as having fun and cuddles with the teddies! Keep up the great work.
