Statistics

Room 5 imagined they had visited a zoo.They had to tell the teacher what they saw. 
They gathered and sorted their information on a pictograph and then interpreted the information.

Here is what they had to say........

"I saw 5 cats and 3 elephants."

"I saw 3 rabbits,horses and elephants.
They all have the same number."

"The rabbits are the biggest group
and the duck is the smallest group."


I saw 4 fish, 3 horses and 2 rabbits."

"The ducks, fish and rabbits are all the same.
They are the smallest group."

'I saw 2 fish, 1 horse, 3 ducks and 5 elephants. The elephants are the biggest group.I saw 11 animals altogether.

"I saw 8 animals altogether.1 is a small number.
It is the smallest group."
