Unveiling of Te Waharoa

Last Friday Room 5 participated in the unveiling of the Te Waharoa,the traditional gateway leading into Te Ara Houora-Grey Main School's garden.

Mr Kokshoorn, the Mayor, opened Te Waharoa with Mrs O'Sullivan, Bella ( our youngest female 

student ) and Kayden( our oldest male student)

Te Waharoa was carved by our artist in residence,Tony Manuel and some of our students. We are very proud of our new gateway.
